Three Turning Points
The Storm
June 13, 2012: A tornado ripped through our Dallas neighborhood and tore off half our roof. When the insurance adjuster said we owed $3,500, I felt sick. Six-figure salary, and I couldn't cover it. I had to beg my boss for an advance. That's when I knew the real storm wasn't the weather.
The System
In the Marines, I learned that moving supplies across three countries wasn't about being smart or lucky. It was about systems that worked under pressure. When my finances collapsed completely, I went back to those basics. No fancy strategies, just the same step-by-step approach that kept Marines fed and equipped in the desert.
The Mission
My grandmother taught me care when she smuggled me a sandwich during three days locked in my room. The Marines taught me discipline I never had. Bankruptcy taught me humility I never wanted. Now I share what actually works when you're rebuilding from nothing, because I've been there.
